Survey finds listed companies required to make new disclosures under new Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) rules revealed more than strictly required

In a sign of the growing importance of non-financial reporting, more than 60 per cent of Hong Kong-listed corporates disclosed more social performance data than was strictly necessary in the first year of the Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) disclosure requirements.
