Taiwan’s Hong-Wei Electrical Industry Co knows the value of not taking advantage of China’s financial market regulators. Despite there being no official requirement on the intercompany loan rate the elevator manufacturer can use when it lends to its subsidiary in China, it was careful to give itself a conservative figure after gaining a Rmb40 million intercompany loan quota.
