J.P. Morgan has provided its clients with advice on how to get the green light from the People’s Bank of China (PBOC) to conduct a cross-border renminbi intercompany loan. Here is a précis of the guidance:

In 2012, the PBOC began approving company requests to lend renminbi funds to overseas entities to support trade settlement and working capital management. Based on the deals already approved, J.P. Morgan came up with a guide on how to increase your chances of getting the central bank to give the okay.
