Basel regulators have agreed to delay bank liquidity buffer regulations for another four years, which is later than most had expected. Full implementation will be required by 2019.

What: Regulators have announced that liquidity buffer requirements, liquidity coverage ratio (LCR), for international banks will not be as stringent as many had feared, after they decided to delay full implementation four years later than originally scheduled.
