
Asia’s domestic banks build market share
Asian corporates may see themselves as global organisations, but also appreciate the merits of banking partners that understand the unique characteristics of their regional markets.

Recent research from Coalition Greenwich suggests that domestic banks are steadily gaining market share across Asia. The survey of large corporates published in March found that almost 25% were working with a local bank (up from less than 20% in 2018), while 13% were using a regional banking services provider.
