
Asia suffers from prolonged DSO times
Asian companies were hit by extended days sales outstanding periods between 2011 and 2012, according to an Atradius payments survey. Indian, Indonesian and Chinese companies were impacted most.
A marked number of businesses in Asia-Pacific witnessed an increase in days sales outstanding (DSO), a measurement of the average number of days that a company takes to collect revenue after a sale has been made.
