Margin call! Regulators should increase burden of OTC trades
IOSCO and the Basel Committee have proposed collateral-tasty requirements for non-centrally cleared derivatives trades. They are hopeful regulators across the globe will adopt the same standards to reduce regulatory arbitrage.
