
Vietnam’s SeABank secures $30m convertible loan to support MSMEs
Norwegian government-owned Norfund is investing with a view to boost financial inclusion in Vietnam, adding to a list of SeABank’s foreign institutional investors.

Vietnamese Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank) has received an investment of $30 million from Norfund, the Norwegian Investment Fund for developing countries, in the form of a convertible loan, which could be converted into common shares of the bank within the four-year term.
