
Uzbekistan launches stablecoin payment pilot
The 12-month regulatory sandbox will test the government collateral-backed HUMO token, as the Central Asian nation advances its digital strategy.

The Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the National Agency for Prospective Projects (NAPP) have begun a pilot project to test the “HUMO” stable token (stablecoin) as a means of payment.
