US Fed holds interest rates amid more attacks on Middle East energy facilities

The Fed is concerned about inflation coming from tariffs and energy prices. An attack on the world's largest gas facility is increasing concerns of a prolonged conflict in the Middle East as the price of oil soars above $110 a barrel. Many Asian countries are taking emergency measures.
US Fed holds interest rates amid more attacks on Middle East energy facilities

The US Federal Reserve’s Open Market Committee (FOMC) has decided to keep interest rates at a range of 3.5% to 3.75% at its meeting on March 18. The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) kept interest rates unchanged in Hong Kong at 4% in response to the FOMC's decision.
