The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade pact has provoked disdain from Democrats and Republicans in the United States, with both parties saying it will take jobs from Americans. As a result, the chances of it being ratified, at least by the United States, have weakened considerably. Commentators CT spoke to warned the failure of TPP to get off the ground may result in Chinese dominance in the region, meaning treasurers and CFOs should prepare accordingly.
