
Standard Chartered launches ESG-linked cash account
The addition to SC’s transaction banking arm, initially in Hong Kong and Singapore, aims to help businesses meet ESG-related targets.

Standard Chartered (SC) has launched a new environmental, social and governance (ESG)-linked program for corporate banking clients to help them meet ESG-related targets. According to a company statement on August 12, the program will be rolled out across the bank’s markets, starting with Hong Kong and Singapore, as pilot sites, before proceeding into further markets.
