The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) has brought in Carole Berndt from Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) to run transaction services globally.

Carole Berndt, former Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) head of transaction banking at BAML will take the role of global head of transaction banking for RBS, the Scottish bank announced on June 26. Her start date, however, has yet to be determined.
