
PBoC’s Yi sets out roadmap to a convertible RMB
Deputy governor of China's central bank offers assurances and a plan for currency convertibility. While the RMB capital market has seen its pricing advantage ebb away, analysts expect it to open up.

China is now prioritising making its currency fully convertibility, following the success of earlier efforts to stem capital outflows and reduce overleveraging pressure on companies, a senior official at the central bank said on April 24.
