Li & Fung hires former Citi banker as CFO

Ed Lam has been hired as the new CFO of Li & Fung. The sourcing company, which has not had a CFO since 2004, said the former Citi banker will focus on financial support for acquisitions and expansion.

Li & Fung has appointed Ed Lam as its chief financial officer, effective November 5. He fills a vacant position left by Frank Leong in 2004 as part of the company’s recent stated goal of expanding its senior management team.
