South Korea’s economy is suffering; the nation’s most pressing issue is defend against the the slowing China economy.

China accounts for roughly a quarter of Korean exports. With the mainland’s GDP growth figures heading south, the above statistic is a worry.
“The combination of China’s economic slowdown and subdued global trade does not augur well for [Korea’s] GDP growth,” said Konstantinos Venetis, economist at Lombard Street Research in London.
