
Insolvencies of large companies reached a record in 2025: Allianz Trade
China, in particular, saw a large number of firms going under. The insurer is expecting a prolonged high level of insolvencies in 2026 and 2027, including in Apac.

Insolvencies of large companies with annual turnover of €50 million ($60 million), reached a record high in the last quarter of 2025, with 146, while there were 475 large company insolvencies across the year, according to data from Allianz Trade.
