HSBC has appointed Stuart Tait head of global trade and receivables finance (GTRF) following a five-year stint as the bank’s head of human resources for global banking.

James Emmett will pass on his role as HSBC’s head of global trade and receivables finance to Stuart Tait on September 1. Emmett will move to take up a role as CEO of the bank’s Turkey entity.
