As operational costs remain high, businesses are looking for funding relief from the SAR's upcoming budget, according to DBS; meanwhile, some firms are looking to expand abroad into Asia and the Middle East.

56% of Hong Kong's small SMEs are seeking funding and financing support, along with easier access to business loans in the upcoming budget announcement, according to a SME Pulse Check survey conducted by DBS Bank (Hong Kong).
