Getting a handle on cash: Samsonite’s story
Samsonite is in fairly bullish spirits for 2014 in Asia. CT talks to its CFO to learn how good cash management helps boost confidence.
According to its financial chief, Kyle Gendreau (pictured), the cash-rich luggage maker Samsonite has plans to open 45 stores across the region in 2014. This would bring the grand total to 600 stores in the region – roughly six times more that it has in the US.
