Electronic bill of lading declaration aims to gather industry commitment
eBLs stand to revolutionise a key part of international trade and yet only 2.1% of transactions are digitised. The Future of Trade Alliance is aiming to change all of that.
The Future of Trade (FIT) Alliance – a grouping aimed at accelerating the usage of e-bills of lading – last week launched an Electronic Bill of Lading (eBL) Declaration to gather industry commitment to digitisation of this crucial area of cross-border shipping.
