
Bank of China (HK) facilitates e-CNY cross-border commodity trade settlement
The "first time" transaction was for around $3 million for imported iron ore between China's Baosteel Group and Hong Kong's Bao-Trans Enterprises.

The Bank of China (Hong Kong) (BOCHK) has completed a corporate e-CNY cross-border transactions pilot to trade a bulk commodity using e-CNY for the first time, according to a December 13 company statement.
