Asian trade finance confidence buoys in first half of 2012
Indicator of confidence in trade finance is modestly up in Asia, according to a recent study commissioned by HSBC, but it’s debatable how useful the index is.
The Purchasing Managers Index is closely followed by treasurers and CFOs, but what about the Trade Confidence Index? HSBC commissions a survey twice a year that seeks to assess trade finance confidence.
